Gaming on the go is definitely a thing these days and is getting more and more popular. There are portable monitors out there, but lets face it they are not that good and definitely not made for serious gamers. Well that is all changing with the new ASUS ROG Strix XG17. It is a 17-inch display with a 1080p resolution, 240 Hz refresh rate, and 3ms response time.
It also makes use of adaptive sync technology so you won’t have to worry about torn frames. The display is small enough that it will fit in any bag and it features a smart cover that also acts as a stand. The display can take input from HDMI or USB-C DisplayPort. It can also be powered by the same USB-C DisplayPort cable you use for video or you can use the internal battery, which is said to get up to three hours of usage on its own.
