ASUS has introduced the latest additions to its “Back To Future” (BTF) series, showcasing the Z790 motherboard and GPU variants featuring the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. This lineup, revealed at CES 2024, emphasizes innovation by concealing connectors through back-plug design and introducing proprietary connections to enhance cable management efficiency. Notably, the new BTF entries sport a predominantly white color scheme, a departure from the previously released black variants under the ROG label.
The ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-BTF WIFI features the LGA 1700 socket, accommodating Intel’s 14th and 13th Gen processors. In terms of VRM capabilities, it incorporates 16 + 1 + 1 60A DrMOS power stages shielded by spacious white and silver VRM heatsinks adorned with aluminum brushing for an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The Z790-BTF WIFI supports a PCIe 5.0 x 16 interface and a 1x PCIe 4.0 x 16 expansion slot.
