ASUS Launches GeForce GTX 980 Ti STRIX Gaming Ice Graphics Card

ASUS has just launched a new GTX 980 Ti graphics card to sit at the top of the STRIX line. It is the ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Ti STRIX Gaming Ice graphics. This graphics card features a full-coverage water block provided by Bitspower and a very cool illuminated RGB STRIX gaming logo.

The card of course as expected comes factory overclocked. First you have gaming mode which sets the GPU at a base speed of 1190 MHz with the boost up to 1291 MHz. OC mode takes things to the next level with a base speed of 1216 MHz and a boost all the way up to 1317 MHz. Memory clocks have been improved over reference as well with a clock speed of 7.2 GHz (GDDR5-effective).

The case make use of a custom-designed PCB with a 14 phase PWM that draws power from dual 8-pin PCI-Express power connectors. ASUS brings their Super Alloy II components and technology to this card for added endurance and reliability. The card is also built with ASUS’s Auto Extreme production techniques.
