The Look & Design
When you look over the enclosure itself, there isn’t all that much to it. The design is simple but looks good. If fits nicely on the top of my desk without taking up much needed space. The front has the 5 evenly spaced out drive bays with a small display on top. The drives (when inserted) sit flush with the front bezel and display.
When you look around the back of the enclosure, without the fan attached, you can see the circuit board.
At the lower portion of the back you can find the eSATA, USB connectors as well as the RAID mode selector switch. There is also a cable lock port for those who want to attach those security cables to the enclosure to ensure it doesn’t walk away un-noticed.
At the top the power supply can be seen fairly clearly; a standard PC Power cable outlet, with the toggle on/off switch.
