Powering Up with the Dark Power Pro 14 IO
be quiet! is well-known for its power supplies, and they’re continuing that tradition with the new Dark Power Pro 14 IO. This unit boasts an 80 Plus Titanium and Cybernetics Titanium certification, meaning it’s incredibly efficient. The ‘IO’ in its name comes from the inclusion of a USB Type-C connector right on the front. This isn’t just for show; it connects to be quiet!’s new IO Center software.
This software lets you monitor and configure your power supply. You can switch between multi and single rail modes, choose between semi-passive and performance fan modes, and even see your estimated cost per kilowatt-hour. It provides detailed information about your power supply, including model, power consumption, and rail details like power, current, and voltage. The Dark Power Pro 14 IO will be available in 1300W and 1600W versions, possibly launching in Q4 or early next year.
The Versatile Pure Base 803 Case
Moving onto cases, be quiet! showed off a prototype of the Pure Base 803. This is a big, open-style case that will come in both an Airflow model and an LX model, with both white and black options. What’s really neat about this case is its modularity. The section that supports the motherboard can actually slide out, allowing it to accommodate very large motherboards, even for high-end AI workstations.
It’s designed for plenty of cooling, with space for numerous 140mm fans on the side, bottom, and back. It also supports all back-connect motherboards, which helps with clean cable management. Another cool feature is the IO panel. You can have it on the front, or you can easily remove it and relocate it to the top of the case. The Airflow version replaces the glass front panel with a ventilated one, and inside, you can add extra trays for storage builds, allowing you to cool multiple hard drives.
Cooling Innovations: Light Loop and Dark Rock
be quiet! is also bringing new cooling solutions to the table. First up is the Light Loop IO LCD, their first All-In-One (AIO) liquid CPU cooler to feature an LCD screen. Available in 240mm and 360mm sizes, in black and white, this AIO has a circular IPS display surrounded by RGB lighting.

For air cooling enthusiasts, there’s the Dark Rock Pro 6 IO LCD. This is a dual-fan, dual-tower cooler with seven heat pipes. The standout feature here is the 4.5-inch IPS LCD display on top, which can show system stats, clocks, GIFs, or even videos. Both the Light Loop IO LCD and the Dark Rock Pro 6 IO LCD are expected to launch in Q4, though pricing is not yet available.

Fans and Peripherals Get an Upgrade
Fans are also getting an update with the new Light Wings Pro IO fans. These come in a single-fan design or a fan-array available in 360mm and even 420mm with ARGB lighting on the fan blades and around the top. They use a single Type-C connection that goes to a controller. The cool part is that these controllers can be daisy-chained, meaning you only need one PWM and one RGB input for multiple controllers, simplifying setup.

These controllers also connect to the IO Center software, allowing you to control your fans speed and lighting all from one place. You can easily change colors and effects for a unified look across your system.
Finally, be quiet! is expanding its keyboard and mouse lineup. They’re releasing the Light Mount TKL keyboard, which offers the same quiet typing experience as the original Light Mount but in a tenkeyless form factor. It also comes with a magnetic wrist rest and is expected in August. Alongside the keyboard, they’re launching the Mouse Mat XL, a massive 900mm by 500mm mouse pad, also slated for an August release. Pricing for these peripherals is still to be announced.
