I have been using the Shield Micra for about 3 weeks now and I do like it. The case itself is pretty solid and makes the iPhone feel even more like a solid device. It slides easily into my pockets and is easy to carry around with me.
The openings on the top and bottom of the case make it easy for you to have the phone connected to the dock connector and to have your headphones connected.
One problem with all clear iPhone cases is that any type of dirt, dust, or lint will show on the case. Dust anyways finds its way into the case and when it does it is clearly visible. Also if when you are installing the phone in the case anything gets stuck in the case like some liquid or debris it will be seen.
After using the Shield Micra for about a month now I can see why so many people use it. Just this past week I was out and I saw 3 different people with it. It is very easy to use, much like many other iPhone cases. It has all of the right openings for the buttons and connections. The opening for the camera and flash does not interfere while taking a picture with the flash on. The case provides enough protection that if you drop your phone or set it down on a hard surface your phone will not be damaged.
With any clear case you are going to be able to see all of the dust and debris that is stuck in the case. This could be a problem to some people, but many people do like clear cases because the iPhone 4 is such a sexy device.
The Shield Micra was available for free as part of the iPhone 4 case program, but you can also find it online for about $15-20. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Belkin Shield Micra iPhone 4 case an 8 out of 10 score.
