BIOSTAR Comes Up with its Radeon RX 6800 Series Graphics Cards

Today, Biostar announced two new models from the Radeon RX 6800 series, RX 6800 XT and RX 6800. AMD’s new RDNA2 architecture powers both the graphic cards. The two cards share the same design, connectivity options while their technical specifications are different.

The cards feature the same design, a die-cast aluminium backplate along with a custom-designed axial fan that provides exceptional cooling.

As for connectivity, they feature a wide array of options that includes two display 1.4 ports with DSC technology, a USB Type C port, an HDMI port with HDMI 2.1 VRR and FRL.

Moreover, the cards also share some similar features like “RAGE MODE” which overclocks the cards by allocating more processing power through a single click. Other features include AMD FidelityFX, that enables robust high-fidelity visual features, Radeon Image Sharpening for crisp details and support for AMD free sync technology to reduce screen tearing.

RX 6800 XT:

This is the high-end version. It features 72 compute units, 128 MB AMD’s infinity cache technology, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and a boost clock speed of up to 2250Mhz. It has a TDP of 300W.

RX 6800:

This card features 60 compute cores,16 GB of GDDR6 RAM along with 128 MB of AMD’s infinity cache technology. It also has a boost-clock speed of up to 2105 MHz.
