During this major sales season, Ubisoft joins the trend of platforms offering discounts and promotions by initiating a giveaway for one of its mainline Assassin’s Creed games. The featured entry is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, released in 2015, and you have a week to add it to your Ubisoft library.
This game has previously been made available for free to PC gamers when the Epic Games Store included it in their weekly freebie promotions in 2020. If you missed that opportunity, here’s another chance to secure a copy.
As a follow-up to Unity, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate unfolds in Victorian-era London, allowing players to command twin assassins, Jacob and Evie Frye. Alongside the customary stealth action, the game introduces transportation systems like carriages for hijacking and a grappling hook for swift ascents. Additionally, players experience flash-forward sequences, immersing them in a World War I conflict set in London.
The original action-adventure gameplay characteristic of the classic series persisted until this title, marking the conclusion of that era. In 2017, the series underwent a shift towards open-world RPG experiences with the soft reboot introduced in Assassin’s Creed Origins. Nevertheless, the latest installment, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, revived the original formula for a more concise, one-off adventure.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is available for free to Windows players on Ubisoft’s Connect platform. The giveaway lasts until December 6, providing ample time to share news about this promotion.
