Colorful has just announced the RTX 2080 Ti RNG Edition, which features a full-color LCD display. This display is made to show out your side panel window. It is currently unknown if you have the ability to actually program this LCD or if it is going to just be running an animation loop. Whatever the case might be it is a full-fledged LCD screen.
For those who do not know “RNG” stands for “Royal Never Give Up”, which is a League of Legends eSports team. The card has a very interesting shroud design and full-cover backplate that features the players on the team.
The card draws power from 3 8-pin PCI-Express power connections and appears to be at least a 2.5 if not 3-slot card. There is an OC button on the rear which will provide an instant overclock of the card. Output connections include 1x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort, and 1x Virtual Link.
I believe this is the first time we’ve seen a full-color LCD on a graphics card as well as a card being built for an eSports team. Either way this is definitely going to be a limited run. No word yet on pricing.
