Cooler Master NCORE 100 MAX Overview
Taking a first look at the NCORE 100 MAX we can see that Cooler Master has designed this case as what I like to call a skinny tower. This is a pretty common design when it comes to small form factor cases. For those wondering about size the official dimensions of the case are 155mm x 212mm x 481mm.
The outer panels of the case are made of aluminum and as I mentioned we do have the Dark Grey version, which has a sort of gunmetal color. The two larger sides of the panels have ventilation holes with built-in filters.
These panels do wrap around to create the remainder of the outer shell of the case. So on one side you will see a continuation of those ventilation holes with the filter. On the opposite side you have a full set of ventilation holes, but they do not have the filter. On this side you will also find an opening for your rear I/O ports on your motherboard, and at the bottom is a power connection.
Towards the bottom of the case right on the corner is a large power button. To the left of it you’ll find a combo headphone / microphone jack, a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 Type-C port, and two USB 3.2 gen 1 Type-A ports.
The top of the case is ventilated, which is good as right below the ventilation is the AiO cooler, more on that in a bit. The bottom of the case gives you access to your graphics card. The case does get lifted off the ground so you will have room to route the cables coming from your graphics card. There are also four rubber feet on the bottom of the case.
