Cooler Master NCORE 100 MAX Mini-ITX Case Review

Last year we took a look at Cooler Master’s MasterBox NR200P MAX mini-ITX case and liked it quite a lot. This case took the original MasterMax NR200P case and added a 280mm all-in-one (AiO) liquid CPU cooler, 850W gold certified PSU, and a riser cable for your graphics card. This really took the guessing out of buying those parts on your own and they were all pre-installed and pre-wired for you. Well Cooler Master is back with another small form factor “MAX” case in their NCORE 100 MAX. This new mini-ITX case is only 15.8L in volume, but still can fit full-size graphics cards inside! To make things easy Cooler Master has pre-installed and pre-wired a 850W Gold ATX 3.0 SFX power supply and a 120mm, 38mm-thich all-in-one liquid cooling solution. Cooler Master claims this new case is the easiest compact case on the market to build in. Let’s dive in and see if that’s actually true!

Special thanks to Cooler Master for providing us with the NCORE 100 MAX Mini-ITX Case to review.

Packaging

The NCORE 100 MAX comes in a very nice retail box that actually has a handle on it. You may want to keep this box as it will make it very easy to take your system with you places. On the front of the box we have a picture of the case and it lets us know we have the Dark Grey version. It will also be available in a Bronze colorway.
