Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand Review

Final Thoughts
I really like what Cooler Master has done with the NotePal ErgoStand, it not only is a notebook cooler, but a stand as well. Many companies just have coolers or stand, it’s nice to see Cooler Master put both together. Having a notebook stand allows you to elevate the screen to eye level so you are not always looking down putting stress on your neck. Also a stand gives you more room to use an external mouse and keyboard.

The single 140mm fan does a great job cooling down your laptop too! During load we had a 15 degree difference when using the ErgoStand compared to not using it at all. The fan as pretty quiet at full speed, but can be turned down as well. The ErgoStand also comes with a 4-port USB hub, which is nice since you are losing 1 USB port to power the cooling fan.

This is a very new product from Cooler Master so we don’t have pricing yet, but if they can keep this under $40 it’s going to be a great deal. Remember you are getting both a stand and a cooler, as well as a 4-port USB hub. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Cooler Master NotePal ErgoStand a 10 out of 10 score!
