Cooler Master Seidon 120V CPU Cooler Detailed

Cooler Master has decided to add yet another product to its Seidon range which includes the all in one liquid cooler for CPUs. This newer addition which has been tagged as the Seidon 120V is expected to be out by the mid of this month. This version of the Seidon range has been positioned above the Seidon 120XL as it features a fuller and more pronounced CPU block along with a radiator with the dimensions of 27 x 119 x 154.

The distinguishing feature of the Seidon 120V is the cuboid shaped block which comes attached to a pump assembly with the dimensions of 62 mm x 62 mm x 36.4 mm (WxDxH).The presence of this allows for the support of the retention module and this is quite similar to Corsair’s Hydro H80i as far as the design is concerned but this one does not come along a magnetic lock. The retention module is easily and securely held into place as four notches have been rigged inside the block and they easily slide into the holes of the retention module.

Moreover, the cooler has a copper base molded into a rectangular shape. A micro fin structure has been designed in the place where heat from the CPU is dissipated to the flowing coolant. The cooler also features a 120 mm fan which is PWM controlled and can spin between 600 and 2400 RPM. This fan has the ability to push up to 86.15 CFM of air with a noise output as low as 19 dBA, the maximum being 40 dBA. The design of the pump impeller is going to be improved further by Cooler Master with a flow chamber that does not cave in too easily. Apart from this, the CPU cooler will be available with a two years warranty from the company and on availability will be priced at $79.99.
