Corsair Carbide Series 400C Case Overview
For a full overview of the Carbide Series 400C Case be sure to check out our video below.

The Corsair Carbide Series 400C looks very similar to the 600C, except of course it is smaller and the window is on the left side since this case is not a reverse-ATX case like the 600C. The case has official dimensions of 425mm x 215mm x 464mm so it is one of the smaller mid tower’s we’ve seen lately. The case is all black and this is the only color Corsair is offering currently.

The front of the case is completely plain because the fact that you do not have any 5.25-inch drive bays. There is a small Corsair logo at the bottom right of the case though.

Moving up to the top of the case you will find all of your buttons and connections. From left to right you have a small reset button, headphone and microphone connections, two USB 3.0 ports, and a larger power button.

Moving back there is a large ventilated section that is covered by a magnetic filter that you can easily lift off and clean. The top of the case supports two 140 mm or two 120 mm fans. Corsair also says that the top of the case will support a 240 mm radiator, but based on the motherboard mounting locations you might run into overhang issues.

At the side of the case we have that nice large clear side panel. I am a huge fan of this design as it really allows you to show off everything inside of your system. Also in this view we can see the openings towards the front of the case, which will allow air to flow into the case.

At the back of the case we find a 120 mm exhaust fan. The mounting system allows you to move the fan up or down for better placement. We have our seven expansion slots, some ventilation for our graphics cards, and the power supply mount is on the bottom of the case. You can see that the opposite side panel of the case uses thumbscrews.

There is a removable fan filter for your power supply that slides out from the back of the case.

Taking a look at the bottom of the case we have four large feet that will lift the case off the ground for good airflow for your power supply.
