Corsair Carbide Series 600Q Overview
For a full video overview of the Carbide Series 600Q be sure to check out our video below.

Corsair really wanted an elegant look with the 600Q and you can tell that by looking at it. All sides of the case are very plain. You will also notice that the case is a bit taller and not as long as many other cases, you will see why in just a little bit. The official dimensions of the case are 454mm x 260mm x 535mm (17.87” x 10.24” x 21.06”). The case is mainly made of steel.

Starting at the front of the case we have that minimalistic design, the only real thing you can see is a small Corsair logo in the bottom right.

There is a small door at the top of the case that when opened reveals two 5.25-inch drive bays. There is also sound dampening material on the door. The door has a unique hinge design that allows the door of the case to sit flush with the front, keeping that sleek design intact. We covered this door design in our video above.

The front of the case pops off quite easily. After removing it we can see more sound dampening material installed on it. Behind the front of the case there is a removable fan filter and a Corsair AF140L cooling fan installed. The placement has room for two 120 / 140 mm fans and water cooling radiators up to 280 mm.

When we move around the to back of the case we first find out that the case has an inverted ATX layout. So the power supply mount is on the top of the case, with the inverted motherboard next and a second Corsair AF140L cooling fan installed. You can see that both side panels use thumbscrews for easy access to the inside of your system.

At the bottom of the case are four large feet with rubber bottoms. These will lift the case off the ground for optimal airflow under the case. There is also a filter that runs along the entire bottom of the case and can be removed from the back of the case for easy cleaning.
