Testing
To test the Flash Voyager GTR drive we will be using HDTune and Sandra’s Removable Storage Benchmark on a new Core i7 system. For comparison we will be testing the GTR against the Corsair Flash Padlock we recently reviewed and the Kingston Data Traveler mini10 which are both 8GB drives.
To give you an actual idea of the performance of the drive here is the HDTune graph.

And the results compared to the other 2 drives.

Here are the results from Sandra’s Removable Storage Benchmark, remember higher scores are better.

Our last test is the HDTune’s File Benchmark. The graphs below go left to right as the Flash Voyager GTR, Flash Padlock, and then the Kingston Data Traveler mini10.

Very good review, Bob. It looks like an awesome piece of hardware; however, the price tag is a bit killer!

Through the description in this article, This Corsair Flash Voyager GTR 32GB USB Flash Drive is worthing having, but the price is a little higher.
Just one thing, it’s not indestructible… mine just stopped working for no reason, after checking it seems there’s a disconnected or fried component inside, the memory is still full with 30Gb of my data but I will have to send it for replacement anyway and of course lose my 32gb…
This Corsair Flash Voyager GTR 32GB USB Flash Drive sounds very good, Hoping to get myself a new USB Flash Drive soon.
