Corsair Flash Voyager GTR 32GB USB Flash Drive Review

Flash Voyager GTR Overview
The Flash Voyager GTR looks a lot like the other drives in the Flash Voyager series with the proprietary rubber housing. This rubber housing protects the drive from all types of damage and even water! The GTR has its own unique color scheme which is black and yellow.

On the front of the drive there is the Flash Voyager GTR logo and on the back there is the corsair.com URL. The Flash Voyager GTR is a little bigger than the Flash Padlock drive we reviewed a little while ago. Keep in mind though this is a 32GB drive and that drive is only 8GB. The picture below is the drive compared to the Flash Padlock and another normal USB drive.

One thing that I always like to point out on the Flash Voyager series drives in the cap. The cap obviously covers the USB connection but the ones on the Flash Voyager drives have a little tip on the end that protects the drive. So if you drop the drive and it lands on the cap that little tip will take most of the force of the impact.

Another thing I really like about Flash Voyager drives is that they are one of the few Flash Drives that still come with lanyards. Having a lanyard means you always have something to hold your drive on and it just makes it easier to find. There is a small hole on the end of the drive that makes it easy to connect your lanyard to it.

  1. Through the description in this article, This Corsair Flash Voyager GTR 32GB USB Flash Drive is worthing having, but the price is a little higher.

  2. Just one thing, it’s not indestructible… mine just stopped working for no reason, after checking it seems there’s a disconnected or fried component inside, the memory is still full with 30Gb of my data but I will have to send it for replacement anyway and of course lose my 32gb…
