Software & Lighting
Like with all Corsair lighting products if you want the ability to control the lighting you’ll need to install Corsair’s iCUE software. When you open up iCUE you’ll see the LS100 Starter Kit listed under your devices.
Clicking on the LS100 you’ll enter into the setting for the controller. First you’ll want to set the lighting setup so the software knows what you have connected to each channel. Once you have your lighting channels setup you can rearrange each the setup of the strips by just dragging and dropping them.
On the left click on the different lighting channels to set the effects. Corsair offers a ton of different effects, you can link both channels under the lighting link section as well. Since these are ARGB strips you can actually select each individual RGB and set a different effect. This means that you can really get in depth with customization.
The lighting is quite impressive and since Corsair has installed a diffuser on each lighting strip you really don’t see the individual LEDs on each strip. This means that the lighting is full and has quite a lot of coverage.
For some odd reason Corsair has put the Brightness setting for the kit in the main Settings tab in iCUE. You can also update the firmware here as well.
