Usage & Final Thoughts
I’ve been using the M75 Wireless for the past couple of weeks and I have really enjoyed it. Now I have been using an ultralight mouse for the past couple of years, so moving to a heavier mouse was a bit of a adjustment, but not much of one as the M75 is not incredibly heavy. Even the longer shape of the mouse did not take took much time to get used to. Within the same day as switching my daily driver out for the M75 Wireless I was used to using it and it did not feel awkward anymore. The mouse is quite comfortable to use and I would say it would be a good fit for anyone who uses a claw or palm grip.
Not only is this mouse going to be good for FPS games, but having two more buttons on the right side of the mouse can definitely come in handy for other types of games. Talking about those two extra side buttons I really like that they do sit flush with the side of the mouse. This makes it so you don’t accidently press them. Of course if this is not your jam Corsair does an extra set of side buttons. When it came to gaming with the M75 Wireless the two main buttons were very responsive and the mouse did glide quite well over my mouse mat.
I did not run into any wireless connectivity issues, but I was using the receiver in a USB hub that was closer to my mouse mat. I was a bit surprised that Corsair did not include an extender adapter. For those who don’t know the USB 3.0 ports on your motherboard have quite a lot of noise which could cause interference. So I would suggest using the wireless receiver on an extender or USB hub.
For all of those who really loved the shape of the M75 Air, the M75 Wireless gives you that, but with added functionality which is something many gamers would want. Most notably adding two more buttons on the right side of the mouse. This also makes the mouse suitable for left-handed games as the shape of the mouse is ambidextrous.
Corsair will be selling this mouse for $129.99, which I think is pretty fair, it just would have been nice to have the USB extender included. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Corsair M75 Wireless Gaming Mouse a 9 out of 10 score.
