Fractal Design North XL Case Review

At the end of 2022 Fractal Design released a case that really stood out, it was the North. The thing that made this case unique was the real wood front paneling. This gave the case a very unique aesthetic, especially for those who didn’t want the sort of aquarium-style PC cases that are dominating the industry right now. The thing about the original North was that it was a bit small, you only had 360mm radiator support on the front, you could only fit graphics cards up to 355mm, and the largest motherboards that you could install were ATX. Today Fractal Design is introducing the North XL, a larger version of the original North that features the same look and internal design, but with more room. You now have support for a 420mm radiator in the front, a 360mm in the top, graphics cards as long as 413mm, and even extended ATX motherboards! If you were looking at picking up the North, but weren’t sure if it had all the space for what you wanted to do, the North XL might be the perfect thing!

Special thanks to Fractal Design for providing us with the North XL Case to review!
