Cougar MX300 Case Review

Cougar MX300 Overview
Taking a first look at the MX300 we can see it does sort of have a unique front bezel design. The MX300 is currently only available in black. The case as you can tell is a mid tower, a smaller mid tower actually. The official dimensions are 195(W)x450(H)x490(D) mm.

Taking a closer look at the front of the case towards the top are all of your front panel connections. These include a single USB 3.0 port, a single USB 2.0 port, and audio connections. The power and reset buttons are located here as well. There are two 5.25-inch external drive bays that are hidden pretty well. The rest of the front of the case has that same design with the Cougar logo towards the bottom. The front of the case does have room for two 120 mm intake fans, but they are not included.

At the top of the case there is a sort of flat section with the Cougar logo. You could easily place your mobile phone, keys or even a game controller here. Moving back there is a long ventilated section. The top of the case has room for two 120 mm fans, but they are not included.

Looking at the side of the case there is a small side panel window which will show a little bit of your installed hardware. There is also room on the side of the case for you to install two 120 mm fans, but again they are not included. The bottom of the case has four plastic feet and there is a removable filter for the power supply.

At the back of the case we find the only fan that is included with the case, which is a 120 mm fan. There are also two smaller watercooling holes on the back of the case and each side panel is outfitted with thumbscrews.
