CRYORIG sort of came out of nowhere last year! We took a look at their flagship R1 Ultimate CPU Cooler and were very impressed and their H5 Universal did not disappoint as either! Today we will be taking a look at the H5 Ultimate. The H5 Universal was made to be just that, universal so it had a very thin fan. The H5 Ultimate on the other hand is made to give you the best performance possible so it has a very thick and large fan. Besides that the H5 Ultimate features a very large single tower design with CRYORIG’s own proprietary Hive Fin structure, four 6 mm heatpipes, and of course that great fit and finish we expect from CRYORIG. Let’s take a look at see if this cooler deserves to be called “Ultimate”.
Special thanks to CRYORIG for providing us with the H5 Ultimate CPU Cooler to review.
One thing that we’ve pointed out since taking a look at our first CRYORIG product is how great their packaging is and the packaging on the H5 Ultimate is no different. On the front there is a photo of the cooler and some information about it.
Flipping around to the back we have a full list of specifications.
On the side of the package it goes over the Hive Fin design, the 140 mm fan, and how easy installation is.
Getting everything out of the box we have the H5 Ultimate cooler, installation guide, mounting hardware, backplates, an extra set of fan clips, CRYORIG’s CP9 thermal paste, and a screwdriver needed for installation.
