Testing – Temperatures and USB 3.0
Our final round of testing start off with testing how well the Asetek 55LC watercooler performs. We used Prime 95 to put a full load on the system and used CoreTemp to record to temperatures. Tests were taken an hour apart from each other.
All we have been hearing about over the past year is USB 3.0 and how fast it is. The best way to test this is compare it to USB 2.0. We used the recently reviewed Zalman ZM-MH200 U3 USB 3.0 Dual HDD Docking Station teamed with the Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue 256GB Solid State Drive. Here are the results from both the USB 2.0 test and the USB 3.0 test.
