Enermax Liqtech 120X AiO Liquid CPU Cooler Review

Conclusion
I’ve said in the past that I don’t know what more you could possibly do with an AIO that hasn’t been done already. Thankfully there are companies like Enermax around to push the bar and surprise doubters. The Liqtech 120X is a fine example of taking something that works tweaking it and making something that is exceptional. Be it the solid machined aluminum parts, the extra touches like rubber sound dampening strips, or the fantastic included fans, there is so much good in this cooler that I’m tempted to say it’s perfect. Installation is a breeze, everything needed is included. The mounting mechanism is so straight-forward a rig building novice could install this unit. And the sound profile is spot on, it does what you want a full blown liquid cooling loop to do: disappear. And for performance, our 3770K is purring along at 4.5ghz with ease. It may not be champion level performance, but it get’s the job done and doesn’t complain all for a sweet $99 from my favorite online retailer.

If I were to have to complain about anything, and these two items are really pushing it, I would like to be able to change the LED color, and some software control wouldn’t hurt. But let’s be real, those two things are superfluous when the unit itself is performing well and looks great doing it all for a decent price.

Overall ThinkComputers.org awards the Enermax Liqtech 120X a 9 out of 10 score!
