Even More AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Game Tests Leak Before Launch

We’ve already seen a handful of leaked benchmarks of AMD’s upcoming Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, which is set to launch tomorrow (April 6th). Well there are now even more and these appear to be from MSI’s own internal testing of the processor, which show t hat certain optimization’s can bring anywhere from 9-12% higher game performance.

The below graph shows eight different games being tested at stock speeds, EXPO DDR5-600, EXPO DDR5-6000 + High-Efficiency Mode, and EXPO DDR5-6000 + High-Efficiency Mode + Enhanced Mode Boost 3. The last two modes are actually MSI profiles for Precision Boost Overdrive.

MSI’s test system was made up of their own X670E Tomahawk motherboard, Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-6000 32 GB kit, their own Core Liquid S360 AiO cooler, and MEG Ai1000P PSU. All games were run at 1440p resolution with the maximum quality settings.

As I mentioned the Ryzen 7 7800X3D launches tomorrow (April 6th) and reviews are expected to be released then as well. This of course is the third Ryzen 7000X3D chip and could prove to be the most popular one.
