The final clock speeds and other details for NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1060 have been leaked. The GeForce GTX 1060 is expected to launch this week! Now the leaked slides do no reveal the card’s normal clock speed, but does mention the GPU Boost frequency will be 1.70 GHz, the memory will be clocked at 8 Gbps, over at 192-bit GDDR5 interface, which puts out 192 GB/s of memory bandwidth.
The features 1280 CUDA cores based on NVIDIA’s “Pascal” architecture. The card will draw power from a single 6-pin PCIe power connector. The TDP of the card is rated at 120W, which makes it lower than the RX480 (150W). In another slide NVIDIA claims that the GTX 1060 is “much faster” than the RX480. This should mean that NVIDIA will price the card quite competitively against the RX480.
