Finger Lickin’ Good Console From KFC Just Got Real!

It looks like there’s some competition for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as KFC has announced its gaming console, KFConsole. Yes, you read that right! It is a VR-ready high-end gaming PC that features a built-in chicken warmer.

In June 2020 after the PS5 was revealed, KFC released a trailer for KFConsole. Back then people thought that’s it’s a joke but they were serious about it. KFC in partnership with Cooler Master launched the console that is capable of 4k gaming at 240FPS.

Technical specifications are not revealed yet but sources tell us that it features an Intel Core i9 CPU, Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD, and NVIDIA GPU as cooler master markets “ray tracing”. Cooler Master also said the KFConsole has “a first of its kind hot-swappable GPU slot” for easy upgrades.

“This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience… what’s not to like?,” said Mark Cheevers who is a PR & social media lead at KFC UK.

“If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch.”

There is no information on the pricing and release date yet.
