First NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Custom Models By MSI Appear Online

Online IT retailer Connection has listed the first custom models of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 by MSI, with prices starting at $823 US. While the Founders Edition and Reference AIC variants of the RTX 4070 will launch on April 13 at an MSRP of $599 US, there will be custom models that are priced higher. Connection in the US appears to have listed some MSI custom models with what seem to be preliminary prices.

In addition to the MSI custom models, two PNY models have also been listed by Australian retailers: a dual fan (VCG407012DFXPB1) and an XLR8 (VCG407012TFXXPB1) variant. The RTX 4070 Gaming X Trio is listed at a price that’s around $50 US lower than the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio. However, these prices are preliminary and should be taken with a grain of salt, as we’ve heard that most AIBs will have models that retail at $599 US. These early listings may not be accurate.

What will ultimately matter is the prices at launch and the availability of the new cards. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 is geared towards the mainstream high-end segment, so it’s expected to be in high demand, especially since there aren’t any other next-gen GPUs in a similar price category currently available.
