FNATIC Flick2 Gaming Mouse Review

FNATIC OP Software & Lighting
When you plug your mouse in it will work no problem, but if you want to customize anything you’ll want to download FNATIC’s OP software. We were introduced to this software with the miniStreak and we really like it.

When you get into the software you select the Flick2. You have the ability to configure three different profiles. The first tab at the top is Performance. Here you can select the DPI (100 DPI increments), angle snap, lift off distance, and polling rate.

When it comes to lighting you have two effects to choose from (Fade & Pulse), you can also select a single color for the lighting.

There are two lighted sections on this mouse, the scroll wheel and the FNATIC logo on the left side of the mouse, which you can set via the software. But there are white indication LEDs on the mouse that let you know what profile is enabled. In the world of over-done RGBs it is nice to see a mouse with subtle lighting.

The last tab is key bindings, where you can program the six buttons on the mouse. Each can be set to a macro, a remapped keyboard button, an application launcher, and to even open a file. Macro recording is quite easy and it is even easy to edit a macro once it is created.
