GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPU With Same Specs As RTX 4080 12GB Confirmed By Colorful

Colorful has released information on their first RTX 4070 Ti graphics card and nearly all of its specifications. Here we have the RTX 4070 Ti BattleAx Deluxe graphics card. The RTX 4080 16GB variant already features this cooler; thus, it could be more intriguing in appearance. Notably, we now have the first image of the upcoming RTX 4070 Ti GPU from Videocardz, which isn’t expected to be released until next year.

Colorful claims that the RTX 4070 Ti will use an AD104 GPU and be equipped with 12GB of GDDR6X RAM. NVIDIA’s canceled GeForce RTX 4080 12GB GPU shared the same GPU clock speed and memory bandwidth. As a result, the company has officially announced that the old RTX 4080 card has been rebranded RTX 4070 Ti, precisely as rumors predicted weeks ago.

The card has a 16-pin power socket that can supply up to 285W power. TDP is set at this level by default for the RTX 4070 Ti and BattleAx Deluxe. Most of the time, Colorful’s BattleAx series utilizes NVIDIA reference specifications; thus, this card should tell us just what to expect from the RTX 4070 Ti.

The number of CUDA cores was the sole specification left unsaid by the corporation. However, the RTX 4070 Ti is unlikely to vary from the 4080 12GB in this regard; therefore, the entire AD104 GPU with 7680 CUDA cores should be deployed. The rumors suggest that the launch of the RTX 4070 Ti will take place on January 5th, 2023, following its formal (re)introduction at CES 2023.
