Gigabyte Announces The GTX 960 4GB Xtreme Graphics Card

Gigabyte is expanding their Xtreme Gaming graphics card lineup with the new GV-N960XTREME-4GD, which happens to be a custom-designed GeForce GTX 960 graphics card with 4GB of memory and customizable RGB lighting for its fans and top decal. With a custom-designed PCB the card comes with factory-overclocked speeds of 1304 MHz core and 1367 MHz GPU boost. This is compared to the reference speeds of 1127 MHz core and 1178 MHz boost. The memory is left untouched at 7010 MHz (GDDR5-effective).

The card features a new-generation WindForce 2X cooling solution that comes with dual 90 mm cooling fans. The two fans actually spin in opposite directions while both blow air on the GPU heatsink, the two impellers are designed with opposite orientation. The fans as well as the Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming logo have RGB LEDs that can be customized via software. The card has a very strong VRM and is powered by a combination of 8-pin and 6-pin PCI-Express power connectors. The card also has a nice backplate with the Gigabyte Xtreme gaming logo on it. No word yet on pricing.
