The first pictures of Gigabyte’s GeForce 960 G1 Gaming graphics card has been revealed. The card follows in the footsteps of previous G1 Gaming cards from Gigabyte. The card will carry a factory overclock and a hefty cooling solution. To start Gigabyte will be using their WindForce 3X cooling system on this card, that only has a 120W TDP chip. This is the same cooling solution that they used on the GTX 980 and GTX 970 G1 Gaming cards. While this may seem like overkill we assume that Gigabyte will have a temperature-activated fan profile. This will keep the fans off until the GPU hits a certain temperature.

This card will also be very different than other GTX 960’s because out its display I/O. Most GTX 960 cards will feature two dual-link DVI ports, one HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.2. This card on the other hard will have the same outputs as Gigabyte’s GTX 980 G1 Gaming card with two dual-link DVI ports, three DisplayPort 1.2 and one HDMI 2.0 connectors. NVIDIA will be launching the GeForce GTX 960 on January 22 and by the looks of it stores are already stocking up.
