Installation & Usage
Since this case is a 2 part case it makes installation very easy. First take the case apart, then place your iPhone in the bottom part of the case. Finally put the top part back on the case to secure your phone inside of it. Installation takes about 30 seconds, maybe less!
The first thing I always check when I install an iPhone case is how tight it is on the phone. If it is loose it will easily break off when you drop it and provide less protection. The Elan Form Graphite is very tight on my iPhone. The next test I do is the flash test. This is where I take a photo with the flash on and see if the case interferes with the flash at all. The Elan Form Graphite passed that test flawlessly. The opening on the side is perfect for accessing the mute switch and the volume buttons.
The top and bottom openings make it easy for you to connect your headphones and sync cable.
I have been using the Elan Form Graphite for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. The design on the back not only looks cool, but has a nice texture to it that makes the phone easier to carry. So you will be less likely to drop your phone. If you do end up dropping your phone the Elan Form Graphite has good protection, especially on the corners. I wouldn’t expect your phone to get damaged at all unless you dropped it directly on the screen.
You can buy this case directly from Griffin for $34.99, which makes it a little more expensive than other cases, but as we have come to find out all of Griffin’s products are quality-made and will last quite a while. Overall ThinkComptuters gives the Griffin Elan Form Graphite iPhone 4 Case a 9 out of 10 score.
