Game developer 343 industries confirmed the release of Halo 2 Anniversary for PC via steam, one of Halo games that’s available in its Master Chief Collection. This includes both a single-player campaign and multiplayer.
The Master Chief Collection was released during December 2019. Halo 2: Anniversary is a remasted, overhauled game which was originally released or the original Xbox in 2004. The collection also includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4. Microsoft would later release Halo: Reach.
The Master Chief collections are not just off-the-mill ports. The collection of older Halo games are remastered to meet current standards- 4k resolution support, unlocked FPS, up to 21:9 ultra-wide monitor support, fully optimized mouse &keyboard controls, and adjustable FOV. This way, PC gamers can enjoy what they’ve missed with the Xbox exclusive but with the goodness, PC hardware can provide in today’s date.
The Master Chief Collection is available for PC via Steam and Microsoft Store for $39.99. You can get the just game or via Xbox game pass. Halo games can also be purchased individually via Steam for 9.99 USD Each.
Microsoft said that it will release Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign) and Halo 4 before 2020 ends.
