HyperX Predator RGB Overview
Taking a first look at the HyperX Predator RGB kit I can tell you this is one of the best-looking kits I’ve seen from HyperX. They have redesigned the heatsink from the original Predator DDR4 and I have to say they look awesome. The heatspreader is a 2-tone design with a black heatspreader with a gunmetal sort of “X” design sitting on top. Of course you have a black PCB to match.
At the center of the kit you have a “HyperX” logo. On the far left there smaller “DDR4” writing and on the right there is “Predator” writing in white.
Flipping the modules over to the back we find the same design, but without the HyperX logo or any writing. We do find a sticker in the center of each module letting us know the model number etc.
At the top of each kit is a light diffuser in which 8 RGB LEDs are placed under. At the center is a HyperX logo.
This add a little height to each module, making them 42.2 mm tall, so keep that in mind if you have a CPU cooler that covers you memory slots.
