this is one decked out laptop. Serious computing power right here, lol. Core i7, 8gb of ram gtx 280 and many more features. The physx capability of this laptop is definately a plus as well. I'm sure this laptop will run very toasty especially due to the gtx 280. Would def. recommend getting a notebook coooler with this one.

There is no way nVidia can pack a GTX280 onto a laptop.
The Mobile GTX280 or “GTX280M” isn't actually based on the desktop GTX280, its a chip based on the 9800GTX+/GTS250 (55nm G92b).

no, i know it's a gtx280 “M” just left it out the m by accident. It definately will run toasty, had a 8200m on my previous laptop, and the heatsink was a combined one with the proc, and it run extremely hot. I'm not too sure of how the heatsink is setup on this laptop, most likely it is combined as well.

That is genius though, they trick people into thinking that it's based upon the 280 which is much better than the 250.
