Final Thoughts
As I said in the beginning of this review every few years we see a company try and break into the industry, some have lasted and others haven’t. Iceberg Thermal definitely want to make a statement with the sort of radical and eye-catching designs of their CPU coolers. The IceSLEET X7 Dual is designed to look like a block of ice and it will definitely look cool inside your build and grab attention of someone walking by. I do have to say though the teal color of the plastic really is not going to match any other piece of hardware you have or any case either.
While the plastic shell of the cooler definitely stands out it makes installation much more complicated. You have to remove the two sides, pull the center fan out, etc. This is a cooler you are more than likely going to have to install outside of your case. On top of that once you put the pieces of the cooler back together you can see the creases where the pieces fit together and it just messes up the overall look of the cooler, at least for me.
On to performance, the IceSLEET X7 Dual does good overall, but based on its dual-tower, dual-fan design I expected more. It is the best cooler that we’ve tested on our new B550 test bench, but not by much. The Deepcool AS500, which only has a single tower and single fan was only a single degree behind in load testing, and much more quiet. On top of that it is much easier to install.
Finally we come to pricing, you can pick up the IceSLEET X7 Dual at our favorite online retailer for $94.99. That puts it at the level of Noctua coolers, except it does not have that level of performance.
At the end of the day I feel like for a first round product Iceberg Thermal has some good things going for them, but there are definitely improvements to be made. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Iceberg Thermal IceSLEET X7 Dual CPU Cooler a 7 out of 10 score.

Pros:
– Unique design
– Good overall performance
Cons:
– Price
– Installation can be complicated
– Plastic shell isn’t a single piece
– Noticeably loud
– Performance isn’t great compared to single-tower coolers
