Installation & Use
There are front and back protectors included so you will want to install them first before you install your iPhone in the Gasket case. Every time I install a screen protector I can’t seem to get all of the air bubbles out.
To get your iPhone in the Gasket case is pretty simple. First angle it down in to the case like you see in the first photo below. Then press it down to lock it in to place. It really is that simple!
Once the case is installed you can see that all of the connections and openings are available.
Being that I am used to full cases that protect both the front and the back of the iPhone it was weird having a case that only protects the back of the case. Using the case if you have your phone sitting out people will definitely ask you about it. Within 5 minutes of having it out at a bar 2 people asked me where I got the case.
The case does provide good protection, but for whatever reason I did mess with the signal on my phone. I thought it just might have been where I was, but I did 5 tests in 5 different locations and when I had the case on my iPhone my signal was always 2-3 bars lower than normal. This was on AT&T, but was very annoying. In my apartment where I normally get 2-3 bars my iPhone would go in and out of service and would not even be on 3G. I don’t know if this was caused by the Aluminum design of the case, but this is really something you will need to consider when purchasing this case.
