In Win 805 Case Review

In Win 805 Case Overview
For a full video overview of the case be sure to check out our video below.

Taking a first look at the case you can see that it is unlike most cases out there, that is because it is mostly made of glass! At the same time the case sticks to the traditional “tower” design unlike many of In Win’s glass cases. The case is the mid-tower case and has the official dimensions of 476 x 205 x 455mm. When I first picked up the case I was surprised how light it was, that is because the skeleton of the case is all aluminum.

The front of the case has a glass panel on it as well. There are no optical drive bays or even 3.5-inch external drive bays on this case, which isn’t a bad thing at all. I can’t even tell you the last time I’ve an optical drive in a build! There is an In Win logo behind the glass panel.

At the top of the case you are going to find all of your front panel connections. These include two USB 2.0 ports, HD audio, a single USB 3.0, and a USB 3.1 Type-C port. This is the first time we’ve seen that on a case. On the far right is your power button. This top part of the case is beautifully designed in gold. There are other versions of the case where this section is red or black.

The top part of the case is actually completely plain brushed aluminum. There are not any cooling vents up top at all.

Each side panel of the case is made completely out of 3mm-thick tempered glass. This allows you to look inside of each side of the case. We have seen glass panels on the left side of the case before, but not many cases have both panels being made of glass.

Moving around back there is a 120 mm cooling fan included. Besides that you have your expansion slots and your power supply is going to be mounted at the bottom of the case.

Before we get inside let’s flip the case over and take a look at the bottom. There are feet on each side of the case to lift it off the ground. There is also a filter towards the front of the case.
