Overclocking
Overclocking on Skyalake-X is not all that hard at all if you are familiar with Intel overclocking. We are not going to go into much detail here as we plan to do a follow-up article, but we were able to get all 10 cores of the i9-7900X at 4.6 GHz.
Obviously when you move this processor away from its stock settings it will get a little hot. With all cores at 4.6 GHz and 100% load our Kraken X52 was able to handle it, but things were a little hot, up to 88C!
To give you an idea of how much more performance that 300 MHz bump gives you we ran a few of our normal tests again.

Why did you have to use your 3200 memory at 2133 on ryzen? That severely gimped the AMD platform. The latest 1006 AGESA has been out for most BIOS’s that make 3200 easy and stable, even with 2×16 or 4x8GB
