When it comes to any type of storage you want your data to be protected and that is where the URBAN TAPSAFE from ADATA comes in. This USB 3.2 gen 2×2 portable solid state drive features a NFC tap-to-unlock feature where essentially you turn your smartphone into a key to unlock the drive. Being that this is a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 you have rated speeds of up to 1900 MB/s, the drive is quite small at only 68.68 x 36.18 x 19.18 mm, and it even has swappable decorative cover plates. Packaging of the ADATA URBAN TAPSAFE Portable Solid State Drive
The URBAN TAPSAFE comes in your standard retail packaging. On the front we have a picture of the drive itself and it lets us know the capacity, speed, and that it is compatible with both PS5 and Xbox. We received the 1000GB or 1TB version, but it will also be available in a 2TB version as well. Flipping over to the back we have more information on the drive as well as QR codes for the backup software and the URBAN TAPSAFE app that is used to unlock the drive.
Getting everything out of the box we have the URBAN TAPSAFE drive itself, an extra decorative cover plate, USB-C to USB-C cable, and a quick start guide.
