HyperX SSD Overview
The HyperX solid state drive is probably the sexiest solid state drive that I have seen. On the top you have a brushed aluminum finish with the HyperX logo engraved and also the Kingston logo on the bottom right. The blue accent on the drive really makes it stand out.
On the back of the drive there is a sticker that has all of the serial numbers on it and lets us know this is the 240GB drive. Just like all other solid state drives you have SATA data and power connections.
The upgrade kit does include a nice desktop USB enclosure. The drive easily slides right in.
We would have liked to open the drive up, but as you saw in the unboxing video it has these weird recessed screws. We can tell you that it is powered by the SandForce SF-2281 controller and 25nm Intel NAND.
