LG Reveals New 4K LCD Displays With IPS Black Technology

LG has unveiled two state-of-the-art 4K LCD display products, namely the “32UQ850V-W” and the “27UQ850V-W,” featuring the innovative IPS Black technology. The “32UQ850V-W” is specifically designed for creators, utilizing “IPS Black” technology to enhance the representation of black colors. This advancement improves the rendering of dark areas, achieving an impressive 2,000:1 contrast ratio for more authentic 4K video and image display. With a maximum color range of around 1.07 billion colors and an accurate DCI-P3 coverage rate of 98%, it adheres to the VESA DisplayHDR 400 HDR standard.

Noteworthy specifications includes a maximum resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, a peak brightness of 400 cd/m2, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a swift 5 ms (GTG) response time, and a broad viewing angle of 178° both horizontally and vertically. The display incorporates AMD FreeSync for synchronization and includes eye care features like flicker-safe and a blue light reduction mode.

As for the “27UQ850V-W,” it stands out in LG’s lineup, offering various input interfaces such as DisplayPort 1.4 x 1, HDMI x 2, and USB Type-C x 1. The USB Type-C port supports up to 90W USB PD power supply, coupled with a USB 3.0 x 2 hub function and 5W + 5W speakers.

Regarding dimensions, the 31.5-inch model has measurements of 715 mm in width, 239 mm in depth, and a height ranging from 488 to 598 mm. As for the 27-inch model, it features dimensions of 614 mm in width, 239 mm in depth, and a height range of 460 to 570 mm.
