Lian Li PC-T80 Test Bench Assembly
To start assembly we will install the feet on each side plate. The feet are easily screwed in with the included screws.
Next we have to attach the support plate to connect the two side plates. This is probably one of the harder steps of installation as you have to hold the two side plates up while trying to screw in the support plate. The support plate takes 4 screws on each side.
The 2.5-inch hard disk tray gets installed above the support plate, about half-way up the test bench. This is also a little tricky as you sort of have to hold it there while screwing in each side. You also have to worry about scratching the side plates. The hard disk tray takes two screws on each side.
Now it is time to install the support poles, there are six of them. The easiest way I found to do this installing the shaft sleeve and thumbscrew on one side and then putting the pole through to the other side and securing it with the other shaft sleeve and thumbscrew. After you have all six poles installed your test bench should look something like this.
The base plate houses the power supply bracket and hard drive cage. There are easily installed with screws. Now I would suggest referring to the assembly guide to see how you want the orientation.
Also it really is not that descriptive in the assembly guide, but the hard drive cage in screwed in from the bottom of the tray not the top.
The base plate then slides on to the two bottom support poles.
Moving on to the motherboard tray you will need to install the PCI bracket and your motherboard standoffs. All of the motherboard standoff holes are marked with an “A” so you know where to install the standoffs.
Now go ahead and install the motherboard tray on the middle support poles. It is easiest to slide the tray in at an angle on the back support pole and then get on the front support pole.
Finally install the top dual purpose tray on the top two support poles and you are finished!
