Logitech G13 Advanced Gameboard Review

The Logitech G13 Advanced Keyboard is a keyboard that can be used for gamers of all types. The G13 offers a natural contoured design for the fully customizable set of 25 buttons. The default layout of the G13 is laid out similar to a standard keyboard, but offers an additional joystick for an added bonus. The G13 comes equipped with a backlight keyboard which you can change to any color you like. This color however reflects the backlighting for the LCD display which shows numerous amounts of data.

A large rubber pad rests near the bottom of the G13 for arm resting purposes. The contour of the device makes it a perfect resting place for the palm of your hand. In between the palm rest and keyboard lies a joystick and two buttons affixed to the side of the G13.

The main keyboard consists of 22 `G’ buttons. These G buttons have a predefined value, but can be ultimately changed to any other key or programmable macro. The main gaming keys, WASD or G4, G10, G11 and G12 all have a concavity to them so that you can quickly pick up these main keys. Four M buttons above the keyboard are used for profile changing, except for the last one which allows you to create a quick macro. Above those four buttons are six more buttons. The farthest button the left switches through the LCD panel screens, while the farthest to the right is used to toggle the backlighting. The four keys in between are used for on screen functions.
