Final Thoughts
[ad#review984-top]It seems like Logitech has really thought of it all when it comes to a gaming keyboard. First off it has to look good and Logitech does that with the sleek design as well as having the keys backlit by any color you like. That’s what’s really cool is that if you are getting bored of 1 color you can change to another easily.
For gamers the G-keys really come in handy, they can be programmed to certain keystrokes, macros, shortcuts, and more. This means you can program the keys for buying equipment, casting spells, and whatever else you want to set them up to do. When you’re not playing games you can have them set to shortcuts like e-mail and Firefox.
The one thing that sets this keyboard apart from others is the GamePanel LCD. It is actually a real 320 x 240 LCD that can be used for many different things. Logitech has created a few programs that run on the LCD; you can even watch YouTube clips on the LCD. While all of this is very cool I really would like Logitech to release an API so people can create their own programs for the LCD.
The G19 sells for $199 which is what you would expect to pay for a keyboard with all of these features, especially the GamePanel LCD. If you are looking for the ultimate gaming keyboard this is it! Overall ThinkComputers gives the Logitech G19 Gaming Keyboard a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!

Pros:
– Backlit with any color
– 12 fully programmable G-keys
– GamePanel LCD
– Easy to use software
– 2 USB ports
Cons:
– Not that many programs for the LCD
– Requires external power source

One heck of a keyboard from logitech. Definately getting one, when the prices come down a bit.

Not a big fan os wireless keyboards so its good to see that Logitech made on of their flagship boards wired.

Yea, wired is definately better than wireless, but i like wireless because it gives you freedom to move your keyboard around, and there are less cables to manage on your desk.
