It looks like AMD will be releasing low-power variants of the Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G chips that were released yesterday. This information has come to light from ASRock’s AM4 CPU support list on their website.
These new low power “Raven Ridge” APUs are the Ryzen 5 2400GE amd Ryzen 3 2200GE and have a TDP of only 35W, that is compared to the 65W of the normal Ryzen 5 2400G and Ryzen 3 2200G. They also will have a slightly lower base clock of 3.2 GHz. AMD has not officially announced these chips so we have no details on pricing or a release date.
