Lighting & App
When it comes to lighting you have accent lighting on the front and both sides of the keyboard. You can use FN + Q to toggle the lighting on and off and FN + W to toggle through the different lighting effects. You can also adjust the brightness and speed of the effects.
When it comes to software MelGeek has their KBTools software. The first tab is “Key” where you can reprogram the keyboard. The “Color” tab does not work, each time I selected it, it would crash the software. After Color we have “Shortcuts” where you can set different shortcuts for the keyboard.
After that is your Macro tab. Here you can create, save, and download your Macros. Finally we have the “Settings” tab. Here you can see which version of the firmware you are running, see the battery level, set the sleep time, polling rate, and update the firmware.
