Micron confirms NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 will come with 12GB GDDR6X memory, running at over 1 TB/sec

It seems like NVIDIA leaks are in plenty today. Earlier, we reported about the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 PCB, which was leaked in pictures. Now, Micron has confirmed at least one of the memory configurations and speed for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090.

Memory company Micron seems to have a document up online which has details about the memory configuration for the upcoming NVIDIA GPU. Take a look:

The bandwidth per pin is shown to be between 19-21 GB/sec, which puts the total memory bandwidth over 1 TB/sec. This is the first time we’re hearing about the GDDR6X memory configuration. It also shows a vast jump from the 2080Ti in terms of memory speeds.

While all of these details are likely to be accurate, this is a confirmation about the naming scheme for the next-gen NVIDIA cards, if nothing else. Thoughts? Hit us up in the comments, down below!
