MIIIW is a new company to us here at ThinkComputers. They make a handful of different products, but are probably most known for their keyboards. Their latest is the BlackIO 83, which is a 75% keyboard with a really unique look with its black transparent casing and polycarbonate keycaps. On top of that you are going to get pre-lubed Kailh Jellyfish mechanical keys switches and stabilizers, a gasket-mount design, compatibility with QMK and VIA and programming, and three different connectivity options. Is this going to be our new favorite keyboard? Read on as we find out!
The BlackIO 83 comes in a nice retail box that says IO really large on the front. Flipping the box over some of the main features are listed and we have a full list of specifcations.
Opening the box up inside you’ll find the BlackIO 83 keyboard, a quick start guide, and an accessories box. Inside the accessories box is a keycap puller, switch puller, USB cable, a set of 8 replacement keycaps, and a user’s guide.
